Request
Request for Information under Freedom of Information Act 2000 Peptides such as GHK-CU and BCP-157 are widely featured on social media, and sold online in the UK. The websites generally state that they are sold 'for research purposes only' and 'not for human consumption'. Please could you confirm: * Does the MHRA believe these products fall under its regulatory regime * Does the MHRA monitor the websites to see if the efficacy claims meet the hurdle for MHRA regulation * Does the MHRA monitor the sale of injection 'pens' which could be classified as medical devices * If the MHRA does not believe these products are regulated by the MHRA, who does it believe is responsible for regulating their sale? * How many complaints or yellow cards has the MHRA received about GHK-CU or BCP-157
